Meet Finnegan & My Toothbrush

I want you all to meet another traveling companion.  His name is Finnegan and he will be helping me out on this trip trying to keep Rita in line, me on the left side of road and generally helping us see Ireland from all perspectives.  He has a tendency to do little mischievous activities so I may be reporting on more than Rita and her adventures.  As you can see he's already jumped into my suitcase to check things out plus he's cheap and didn't want to pay for the fare.  Note that I'm prepared with an umbrella and sunglasses.

To answer "inquiring minds want to know" question:  YES - you do buy a new toothbrush for each trip.  It's kind of like taking clean underwear in case you end up somewhere unknown.  With what I've seen of the road maps there is a BIG likelihood of that happening so I've packed lots of extra underwear.

Oh, a little fun tidbit.  I was watching House Hunters International today and it was about a lady moving to Cork, Ireland.  We're going to Cork.  She was writing a blog and met a "friend" who was reading her blog and he showed her around the city.  Three months later they were engaged.  So if there is anyone
in Ireland reading this.... Rita is available.
